Well, as I come to think of it I cannot help but get to conclude that you already know the answer.

That brings us to yet another question: Are you really sure you want to know it?

What price Freedom? Any Cost! What price Peace? Whenever possible, but not absolutely necessary. Mat 10:34(34-39); Luke 12:49-53; (for all those who did not know[KJV only]). Strong's concordance (Hebrew-Greek), gives the meaning for the word peace (1515) as 'peace, by implication propriety:- one - peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again. So, Christ brings not rest upon the earth. Of course not, since satan got control of this world, and he hates anything to do with God and Christ, there can be nothing but war. Satan will attack anything that even smells like it might maybe be of a Holy nature. So, Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death, either way I Go To Heaven.

When did war ever bring peace?
What good did the Viet Nam war serve to provide security for the USA? 56,000 men died and when the north took over the south war stopped and now there are best friends.
Jesus mean that Christians who didn't fight would be persacuted by people who did. That was fulfilled when the romans feed the christians to the lions,. They died for their faith.

Both are welcome. We love peace because we know war and the opposite we hate war cause we know peace! The price its the same for everything we do the price is our lives.

spend more of your time trying to find out if you really are right with god, instead of trying to find the meaning of the writings in the bible. thats the more important path.
