It's not yours to begin with. Everything we have is from God, because of God, and belongs ultimatley to God.

Only that which we can take with us when we pass, is ours.

If you believe god is both omnipotent and omniscient then the answer is this:

He giveth to test humility

He taketh away to teach humility

The Lord NEVER taketh...His gifts are irrevocable, as the bible says...BUT the Lord may STOP giving...and then whatever u got so far wont be enough to keep going.

To develop you and spur further growth and development in the giving (learn and enjoy) and the taking (loss of comfort zone, need to mature and adapt). Would you really always want the same things all the time. We are to grow into GREATER GRACE, not the same old goodness. I love this about His character. Progress is a beautiful thing. NOTHING about it scares me or causes resentment in my heart. Bring it on, LORD!

No. The Lord giveth but he also taketh away. When it is not appreciated he can take whatever it is away. Its life. That's how we learn to appreciate.

He gives life and gifts. Those who use them wisely he rewards with more. Those who do not use what is given that to will be taken away.

If time with your family is important and you don't use it wisely then that time will be taken away. Look at divorce and what it has done to the family.

There many different things I could use to sight here but I think you may get the point.

Be wise with the things you have or they can be taken away.

Because you will have storms in your life that will test your faith. If the Lord only gave you would not be appreciative but when he takes away you appreciate everything you get.

That's a big question. First, He givith to see what with will do with it. If we blow it, He taketh away.

Because that's the sort of thing that man does all the time. It is another tome of proof that god is a man made construct.
