It is not normal if to have a high temperature. Having fever means that your body is trying to fight off an existing infection in your body. You also mentioned another symptom which is cough. Go check your doctor or if your temperature is that high, better go to the ER to check if you have respiratory infection.

have it checked out. anything with a high temp is a sign of infection or virus present. there has been alot of having coughs and temps going around and its been mostly bronchitis. i went to the va for mine. anything except just having surgery will have a temp of 100 or so. nothing is normal about having a hot body temp. most people range from 97.6 to 99.2 is a normal range.

What is hot? If it is over then 103, go to the ER immediately.

prolly a summer cold hun...drink fluids...gets some meds and relax hun...sorry u have to feel soo bad on a holiday...hope u feel better...
