Love each other UNCONDITIONALLY,TRUST,RESPECT and HONOR ALWAYS! Marriage is HARD work. BOTH people need to work at it and they should always COMMUNICATE their needs, their wants, their dreams and their desires.

Believe your partner and your partner will believe you

Try to give some space to your partner

Respect your partner - it is worth taking interest in small things of their lives

Have a healthy sexual life - try to know more options of pleasing each other sexually

never think - my marriage is not ok

Call your partner - sometimes even without any reason and just say - "i love you"

Show your affection and love - in whatever ways you may think - a thoughtful present, a surprise dinner, sit through your partner's favourite TV program, a ticket to a movie once a while -

I do not know for sure, whether the above can bring happiness to your marriage - but it has done for mine - and of course, needless to say - we love each other very much

It is definatly good to each have "me" time to pursue individual hobbies/interests. This time apart makes you appreciate spending time together. When everything you do is together, sometimes 1 or both of you will feel smothered. It is definately important to not let your hobby or interest become more important than your spouse, but I think time apart creates more passion when you are together.

I also think that hugging and kissing is important. I try to hug my husband every morning right after he gets up and at night before we go to bed. It is a non-sexual way of just showing appreciation and love. I hope this helps. My husband and I have been together for 8 years and we are still very much in Love.

Always put the other persons feelings before yours. This goes for the both of you.
Always put wife/husband before friends. THIS IS A MUST!!!!!!!!!
Have patience with each other. Have fun together. Always make each other laugh/smile. Trust. You have to be able to trust. Honesty. Be honest.
Here's the biggie:
COMMUNICATION. talk with each other. Not everyone knows what each other is thinking. If you have something on your mind,
I'm sure the other will want to talk it over with you. Always communicate with each other. It's the most important thing.

A marriage is not 50%-50%....it has to be 100%-100% otherwise you are only putting half of yourself into the marriage.

I've been married a bit more than 20 years and my one piece of advice follows the practice of the Golden Rule.

Always put your spouse above and before you -- treat them the way you want to be treated (with love, care, genuine trust, and lots and lots and lots of patience -- always remembering that weathering through the rough times usually leads to times of peace.

COMMUNICATION. Men don't like to talk about things as much as women do, but they MUST! It is important to share your thoughts and feelings with each other. Never take your problems to another.
