i am wanting to put all pictures into one folder to save space on my computer. is there a program or if i dont need anything and can go ahead how do i do this?

You can do a search for them, click start, search, pictures music and video, in the search box type *.ipg or whatever extension you use for you pictures. This search will find all pictures with that extension. The only downside is, it will find all and any picture files with that extension, including files you do not want to put in your picture folder.
As far as saving space, as far as I know, doing this will not save you space. It will just move them to a different folder. In order to save space, you could either post the pictures in storage on the net, both yahoo and Kodak have a place. Your you can save the pictures to a CD or flash drive.

You can use the search engine built in Windows (Start->Search->Files or folders...) and search for image files such as "*.jpg". The result list has direct access to the files, just like any explorer window, so you can move the files to the folder you want directly from it.

on the search click on picture search then search for .jpg
then copy all of them in a folder

You can search (assuming you have XP) for certain file extensions like ".jpg" and such. Then copy them to a certain folder. (Or move them.)
