There are tons of Internet sites for people with Macular Degeneration. A good number of these sites feature message boards and chat rooms. You can share information with people who have Macular Degeneration through that type of forum.

I have macular degeneration and have lost most vision in one eye. I am undergoing injections in the eyes every six weeks. I am also on high potency vitamens. I'll chat with you by e-mail, if you like. ringocox@yahoo.com

if you type in macular degeration in your search engine and hit search, you'll get hundreds if not thousands of sites with many being chat rooms or oeganizations that can get you with local groups if you want.
