Pork can often be fattier, but it doesn't contribute to colon cancer like red meat does.

I am no expert but I would think than the lighter colored the meat the healthier it is for you to eat.

Thus pork, all things being equal, would be health-wise better to eat than beef. In the same way, chicken is healthier to eat than pork or beef.

Lean pork is actually healthier. It has less cholesterol and other fats. Ask you nutritionist or doctor for confirmation to this. I suffer from cholesterol issues, and I have been told by both that the red meats need to be lowered and that I shouls eat more lean pork and fish.

I think beef is because red meat can cause high blood pressure & high cholesterol.

beef - has less fat, the "fat" is actually good for the brain, and it fills you up faster, so you tend to eat less. i love cows! :D
