The family which comes to our rescue/help when there is a need, the family members who are understanding us and share their happiness and sarrow with our family members, is our REAL neighbours, but not the people who does not have these qualities residing in the surrounded houses around ours'.

We have a HOT Brazilian single mom on one side, and a family of (I don't know the number, I have counted over 20 coming out of the house in one day) Hispanics on the other side.

The illustration that Jesus gave was of a man beaten by robbers and 3 men passed by. The Jews hated samaritians so he used this man as the one who helped the poor man beaten and robbed. That tells us he considers all men our neighbors.

Someone who lives "peacefully" near you. "Near" does not necessarily mean next door (although included), Mother Earth is near enough - bottom line. The word peacefully, could be worth exploring as it encompasses a lot of things.
