i think they are half playing a game, half being insecure. A clear answer is not really "fun" and by staying in doubt, it makes the whole relationship more interesting.
Some girls might like that, and stay in that place, others may simply be shyish and really don't believe it... but i think there are more of the "play a game" girls out there

Because they're insecure. They pretend not to believe it because that would require belief in themselves and in you. They'd prefer to hide behind their unsecurity and believe noone loves them - that way they can't be disappointed.
By the way, not all ladies act like this - the ones who believe everybody loves them are far far more annoying...

they dont believe u they think that u just want sex like most guys but they want 2 know u mean what u say and say what u mean
