Vegetarians!!!
Don't talk to me about vegetarians - I had dinner at a veggies house once, they served pie.
When I asked what sort it was they said it was a Linda Macartney pie!
Couldn't they have just buried her!!!!

Well we are use to a certain "Appearance" on our plates for one. Did yo uknow that y can have twice the amount f tofu in weight as you can meat and garner just as much protein if not more....and when it is spiced with tamari and herbs, often you cannot tell the difference in that it is Tofu and NOT meat....I was very surprised at this. This in strips sateed slightly in tamri of amino acids tastin like soy make it taste like strips of meat. depending upon the recipe.Oh the salads that can make this even more wonderful! Salsa, Soy and herbs make up for what we think we have lost. We haven't lost a thing. Tacos, and YOU name it...we can do it!

Vegetarians don't eat meat not because they don't like to eat meat... truth of the matter is, they believe meat is bad to once health, so they shape their food like meat, so that they could pretend they are eating meat...hahaha.

Some people don't agree with the idea of eating meat (killing animals, etc). But they still enjoy the taste of meat. So, they look for substitutes that taste and look like meat, but are made more humanely.

So they don't feel like they're bein different at dinner parties??
Could be coz they miss eating meat and want to seem like they're still eatin meat but not actually eatin it so therefore not breakin their vegitarianism rules....?

I have a veggie friend who insists on a veggie meal when she visits. When I visit her, I ask for a meaty meal and I still have to eat veggie. Where is the justice?
