For the posted who wrote: Explain to me how it goes from fighting in a war to murder? war is war but that's a different subject altogether. Well, WAR is not to inflict injustice on the CIVILIAN POPULATION we are there to FREE!. Are you that uneducated you think we can go to ANY country and do as we please to the people because we STARTED a War there, you are just as narrow minded as any terrorist who think that way ALSO "war is war kill em all!" is a terrible way to think. It is MURDER one person involved has ADMITTED GUILT so the question of convection should not be a problem WITH a confession already MADE. This was a family not military not involved in BUSHES war. I'm sure this happens way more then we will ever be known. 19 YEAR old boys with raging hormones and guns allowed to play Army men will do crap like this. No matter what is done to them things like this will always happen. I think they should be tried in a military US court and punished under those rules and guideline. THEY WERE NOT FIGHTING they plotted a attack on a women who was not the target of the WAR, burned her body. Killed 3 males in her family ONE BEING A CHILD!. HOW is that not murder? everyone is up in arms yelling over 911 because they were innocent not involved in middle east affairs, THIS is the same thing this women lived in the middle east she was not the ENEMY.

If they are being accused, they should stand trial in Iraq, if found guilty they have to suffer the punishment the Iraqi government places on them. Unfortunately, these men are in the military and will probably stand trial in the US military court. If they were civilians it would not even be an issue, they would probably be dead already.

I think a full investigation should take place to determine the facts....the 4 US soldiers accused should be tried/convicted with the full extent of the Geneva convention...these individuals do not represent the US military as a whole..they are criminals...my prayers go out to the families.

Beleive me if this did happen, they will be tried and hung here. There's never any excuse to rape anyone...ever, in any country, period. Unfortunately when war happens, so do other bad things like this, it's all a part of that attractive package. I can only pray that justice will prevail. With that said, how does this have anything to do with "parenting"?

it is a fact that it happend so for that person to say that you have already convicted them is wrong. he was simply stating a fact. as far as them being convicted here or in iraq i don't no. but what i do no is that all those soldiers should come home because they are going crazy over there. i mean hell if i was over there for all of those yrs i would probably be cracked up to. and no i'm not justifying what they did because it is horrible.

Death happens in war, rape is another story.
My mom had a rule with us kids- If you can't play with it nicely, then you don't get to play with it at all.
I think that those who force sex on others should be surically altered as to never be able to commit that act again.
As it applies to this situation-
Wherever they are tried- (I think they should be tried in a military court in Iraq) If they are found guilty- chop it off! (GOOO Ms. Bobbet!)
