Just relax, Jim.
Sit back and allow fate to decide.
You've done your duty for the day.
Peace!

Well, for you, I don't think it would matter what many people believe. Only what you believe matters. So you see who has the best answer, and you believe that person qualifies for the 10 points, and you give it to him/her. I mean, sometimes you can easily tell when someone posts BS from when someone posts a nice answer. Yes, often there are equally good answers. That's why when I choose among such best answers, I choose one that appeals most to me, and then note the other good runner-ups in my comments section. It's not really points that matter. I don't know why people are so obsessed with them. The only thing that should be taken into account is the aggregrate quality of answers and questions.

You know, Jim, the points out here are meaningless because it speaks nothing of the quality of answers, just the volume of answers. You are the one here needing to make the decision to either chose 1 best answer from the 20 you received, or you can decide to let the group vote. This is entirely in your hands, You've got the power.

I only put my questions to a vote when I feel there is more than one I want to give best answer. If you don't wish to do that, pick the one you feel is best and the others will have to be satisfied with the points they have already received.

Jim, my friend, I put the majority of my questions to a vote. I love the answers and love all to see. I also like the fact of getting other peoples advice as to which answer they perceive to be best. There are, of course, times that I feel the need to choose one myself. I vote for Best Answer to my question when put to the vote.
Peace and Love

Hello jim_darwin.. :)

As for putting it to a vote..that fate lies in your hands.. :)

I do not believe that you will choose my answer..

I usually go by the past experience with my answers to questions..there are not very many that you choose from me..so..I do not expect it..

But I do enjoy answering your questions.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

LOL...I know what you mean. This should be a forum that allows us to get answers to questions, not a popularity contest.
if you're having a hard time choosing the best answer, just choose the one that's most helpful and makes most sense to you. If there aren't any that meet those expectations, choose "No Best Answer".

Everybody applies best thinking while answering a question seriously.......its upto you whose thinking impresses you the most, or coincides with your thinking. You should put it for voting if you are still in a dilemma or want to consult society for the choice you have opted for...
I hope you won't put this answer for voting !!!!!!

I never expect best answer because my answers usually suck. Maybe Jesus does not like me as much as the pretty girl avatars that always end up getting best answer even though their answers are suckier than mine.

i think people ask questions as per their wish so voting for the best answer its his /her wish
if the fellow is very confused than he puts it for voting
so no need to worry about wether we get 10 points or somebody else
as per my opinion just answer to the question honestly and clearly
