Should all the other answerers who don't believe they are going to get 10 points not answer, for only those who believe in their heart they are going to get 10 points do?

it doesn't matter what you believe. some one who doesn't believe they will get ten points but answers could still answer well and get the points. the points don't really matter anyway. all that matters is you give accurate information or make a lame joke.

Hahaha, I see where exactly you're pointing with this question. Really funny!
I guess the point is in trying, isn't it? Well, anyway, I hope you get as many believers in your 10 points as you can. There's entire religions built on the basis of belief in a fictional reward you'l be given if you answer enough life questions so that the asker will like it.
So what are the believers supposed to do: answer what the asker wants to hear, eh? Or answer in tune with their consciousness and free will? Nooo, then they won't be given the sweet bounty! Thet's go and kiss some a55!!

I usually give an answer that I feel is best suited to the question. If I get 10 points I secretly go "yes" but really, do I give a rats A$$?

Hello jim_darwin.. :)

Yes, it is fate..also many of the questions you choose are fact..because you choose which answer, you want to choose..not always the correct one.. :(

fate: Dictionary.com

The supposed force, principle, or power that predetermines events.

The inevitable events predestined by this force.

A final result or consequence; an outcome.

Unfavorable destiny; doom.

It can also be fact: Dictionary.com

Fate - The supposed force, principle, or power that predetermines events

Predetermined - To determine, decide, or establish in advance: “These factors predetermine to a large extent the outcome” (Jessica Mitford).

Reading these definitions, I have to say no. Even if God knows who you were going to give the 10 points to, its not because he forced you (the whole free will thing) he just knew, you still make the ultimate decision.

if it is fate that you will give 10 points to so and so then it will also be fate that they posted an answer

what someone believes in their heart has nothing to do with fate

You dont have to give any points away, let it go to voting. I answer sensible questions without thinking about being picked as best answerer. Isn't that the point of this??? However, do you answer questions for that reason only?

It's all a part of God's masterplan... Whether or not we believe it, and whether or not you believe it, only God knows who you will give 10 points to. Don't even pretend that it's you deciding...

Of course, Calvin would have us believe that we will still give good answers because our natural actions would suggest what God had in store for us. In other words, God's already decided that you'll go to heaven and hell, so if you kill, rape, maim and wear mixed fabrics, those actions are not why you're going to hell, but the fact that you're going to hell inclines you to do those actions...

Pretty kooky, eh?

Yes, it's preordained who it to get the 10 points although we all have free will and make a choice to answer or not. You also have free will and can select the best answer as long as your decision is the same as the preordained choice.in which case it is not really free will and you may disappear in a puff of logic
