have no clue how a parent could do this horrific crime!!!!
I have a 16yr daughter --yes there are times that are very trying but this is growing up, and parents need to know this.
I, myself no matter how upset she makes me or how bad things get I could NOT hurt her in anyway. I LOVE MY CHILD WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL!!!

Insanity could be one of the major causes. This may include cases of alcoholism, post partum depression etc
Sometimes, i have even read that mothers/fathers have killed their children and commited suicide themselves......to protect their children from poverty or anything harmful etc..........
there are also cases in some of the developing countries where the parents expected a male child and have killed their female baby.
parents have also been responsiblefor the death of their children directly or indirectly when the children were born deformed or 'less than whole '
whatever the 'so called' cause, I think the primary drive for killing ones own children is INSANITY or a false love for power......

A person may kill their children to get back at their spouse or the child or children mother or father, they may do it for money, or they may have post par tum depression (you know that sickness Brooke Shields had where used some pills to make it stop and Tom Cruise criticized her about for using it). Basically there are many different reasons why people kill their children.

I have often wondered that same they with the Andrea Yates trial going on...I too suffered from the same thing baby blues. But not once did I think of killing a child. Im kinda of a adopted mom to my roomates six year old son and his mom didnt want him around her I couldnt never understand that either....but some was never meant to be parents and some was
