Long Island, New York, burb of NYC. 3.15 a gallon as of yesterday. Highest I've seen is 3.32 a gallon. That was last September. So far 3.15 is a pleasant surprise. In April, I thought gas would hit 4.00 for the summer. It hasn't.
Also, I hate when the media says gas in Europe is 7.00 a gallon. Believe me, I lived in Europe, and the Europeans don't drive as far as us except for their vacations. France is the size of Texas. No need to drive far to shop.
