Rinse it with milk. Water will flush it, but the acid in the pepper is oil based. Milk will neutralize it better.

It'll stop soon enough but that might be several minutes, depending on how much juice got in his eye. Let the tears flow and it will help wash it out. If he can keep his eye open flushing with cool water will help also.

It burns like crazy, but it's not likely to cause any damage.

If he touched the seeds, there's nothing he can do but wait, make him soak his hands in milk a for a while, this may help a little, try to "wash" the eye with milk too, not with the irritated hand of course, maybe a cotton pad. Good luck!

The spice on that pepper got on your hands, and will stay there for a while, no matter how many times you wash them! i'd give it a few days before you touch your eyes again, or your face, or your... down-belows... it can be VERY damaging to sensitive tissues!

I got chili pepper in my eye and thought it burned my eyeball out. Nothing worked. So, I soaped up my hands and washed my eye lids and lashes. Why not, it couldn t burn any worse. It worked. My eyes were red, but the burn was gone. May not sound too smart, but neither is getting pepper juice in the eye. When you are desperate, you just want relief!

I've done it with jalapenos and it's murder, for sure. Rinsing with water didn't seem to help, and while I've heard that milk is the only thing that can dull capsaicin's burn, I wasn't brave enough to rinse my eye with milk. My advice is: if you accidentally touched your eye with that finger, don't forget to wash that finger thoroughly before you pick your nose with it!
