is it normal to get severe charlie horses a few days after giving up meat?

I don't know, I've never had to give up meat. Well, I ate some last week, in a stew; but I didn't have to give it up. If you can take it or leave it, mostly leave it, you don't have to give it up.

For charlie horses take lots of vitamin C. Yes, by all means, take lots of vitamin C.

If you go back to eating meat, that will only lead to other problems down the road.

Meat-eaters get old and cranky, eventually they get aches and pains, and then other weird things start to happen. It ain't a pretty sight.

That sounds like a potassium deficiency. You'll need to supplement your potassium intake by eating bananas, prunes or taking a supplement tablet.

I don't think it has anything to do with giving up meat. Just make sure you are getting other types of protein (tofu, nuts, cottage cheese & nuts [if you are not going vegan] or soy protien). Good luck.

Get up from the computer and go get a slim jim. Take the vegetarian transfer slowly. Your body need the protein.

i am not sure did you stretch out alot ? depends on what you do with it I have no clue.
