Towel training means to hold your bird in a towel for about 5/3 minutes so to gain trust.
In towel so as not to get bitten.

I'm going to jump right in and say you can towel train your tiel at any time. The sooner you start the better :-) . Heck - some breeders will even start towel training their chicks as soon as they're old enough to see!

I agree that your questionis not clear. My I do not need to use a towel to clip wings or toe nails on the tiel. So far he has never bit me that hard. Now my sun conure is a hole other thing. I can clip his nails with no problem but cliping wings I have to rap him in a towel. Is that what you mean. If so just rap him up. You can't make him like it no matter how hard you try if he don't like it he don't like it.

Must be something new. I never heard of that.
My wife had one and I started to train it but when they are still young their bite is nothing to worry about as all they are doing is protecting themselves. After two or three times you pick them up they settle down and see your not going to hurt them. Just talk gentle to them and they learn real fast. Becareful what you repeat to them as they repeat what you teach them and vulgar language puts you in a situation when company shows up.

man have you got it wrong. It will never trust you that way. I suggest you find some reading material on line to learn about your bird.
