Can Dreams Foretell The Future?
FROM ancient times, mankind has had intense interest in dreams. The Egyptians prepared elaborate books for dream interpretation, and the Babylonians had their dream interpreters. Among the Greeks the custom was to have sick people sleep in the shrines of Asclepius to receive health instructions in their dreams. In the second century of our Common Era, Artemidorus produced a book in which he gave interpretations of dream symbols. Many similar books produced since then have been based on his book. Down to this day, efforts are made to interpret dreams, but do they actually give insight into future events?

There are lots of websites and books on this subject. I have studied this subject many years. Dreams are often hopes and fears...so pick one. Perhaps some anxiety/frustration about not being wealthy and royal or you could be getting prepared for some future success...try to read some practicalty into the dream...how does it relate to your possibilities?

Dreams come from your subconscious mind. Not always do they have something real to tell or show you. They often deal with wishful thinking, or unconscious desires. Sometimes they come from past life memories.
One of the best ways to begin to understand your dreams is to journal them. Write down everything you can remember of the dream as soon as you awaken. Even colors in a dream can be important to the message from the unconscious mind. Once you get a pattern established you may be able to learn to ask for answers to your questions to come through in your dreams and if you don't understand the next night's dream, ask for a dream that will make it clearer.

try to check out "sleeps.com" or "dreammoods.com" these online dream dictionaries. when you dream a dream, try to pay attention to the symbols in it and then check these to websites out and look for teh defenition of the symbols, it might help you.
Or some times what we dream about, specially fame, welath, boyfriends, sex, or even killing someone, its our internal desires that we cannot put into action in real life.
However, most of the dreams reflect our future, that's what my believe is. hope that your dream of becoming wealthy is a blurry picture of your future. and one other thing, nothing is impossible, you never know what tomorrow holds for you. if you are far from being rich today, who knows perhaps you win a lottery or something tomorrow and you will be a millionaire.

Dreaming of being wealthy means just the opposite, being not wealthy for the long-run. Dreaming of being royalty means happiness, unless it was an unpleasant dream or there was something embarrassing about it, meaning you should watch out for gossip.

Rich
If your dream concerned being more affluent than you actually are, it portends a protracted period of patience before your circumstances will improve.
King
Happiness, prestige and prosperity are forecast in a dream of being, seeing or meeting royalty, unless the dream had some embarrassing or unpleasant element in it. In this case it is a warning that you could be victimized by underhanded gossip, so keep your private affairs to yourself. If your dream concerned the playing cards of this denomination, search for Cards.

Oh come on! Dreams are nothing more than your mind not "shutting off" while you sleep! There is nothing to "understand". How on earth could you possibly see a correlation between dreams and you suddenly becoming wealthy and suddenly becoming royalty ( how oftne does that happen ) ? Think about it- it makes no sense.

You say you are far from wealthy. Your dreams could indicate that you have a desire to become wealthy and royal. Or, they may not mean anything at all.
I really don't mean to add to any confusion...
