What is a "nosh pit"?

I'm taking a vacation to Puerto Rico and was told to try a meal at a "nosh pit".

Nosh Pit is a restaurant; "nosh" is Yiddish for snack.

maybe they meant "mosh pit?"
I've never heard of a "nosh pit" before.

perhaps you mean Mosh pit which a circle of people at a concert that dance and beatup on each other
