I tested positive for chlamydia but my boyfriend tested negative, which is weird since he's the only one i've been sleeping with. Anyway i received treatment for it and it should have cleared. However since my bf tested negative he hasn't been treated and without thinking i performed oral sex on him. Now i am worried that i may have been reinfected with chlamydia. I know it is transmittable through anal and vaginal, but how likely is it that i am reinfected with it by having oral sex and should i worry and get tested again?

Sexually active women and men can get chlamydia through sexual contact with an infected person. Chlamydia can be passed during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Because there are often no symptoms, people who are infected may unknowingly pass chlamydia to their sex partners.

yes it can be passed through oral sex...get checked out by a doctor.

Chlamydia will be transmitted for the period of vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Chlamydia is also surpassed from an contaminated mom to her toddler for the period of vaginal childbirth. Any sexually lively man or woman will be contaminated with chlamydia. The better the shape of sex companions, the better the prospect of an infection. because the cervix (beginning to the uterus) of adlescent women and youthful women persons isn't totally matured and is probable extra weak to an infection, they are at truly extreme probability for an infection if sexually lively. tell her to get examined. He would produce different STI as well.

Well you need to see whether this relationship is worth keeping cause he had to be lying to you. Cause if you had or have it and he is the only one your sleeping with then he has it and maybe feel embarrassed to go to a doctor to get it checked. Asked him which doctor did he went to? Or ask him if you could see the results and by his reactions you will know.
