The Dr. told me what it was, how I can get it & how to treat it. I did everything the Dr. told me to do. Then I have sex again with my current & BAMB!!!!!!! Again BV? Is he a carrier?? Is that possible? Do I have to tell him & does he need medication too?

You won't get BV (Bacterial vaginosis) from him but you can develop it after having sex with him or a new partner. It is not an STD though, so men do not have it. Most cases of bacterial vaginosis occur in sexually active women between the ages of 15 and 44, especially after contact with a new partner. Although BV appears to be associated with and triggered by sexual intercourse, there is no clear evidence of sexual transmission. Rather, BV is a disordering of the chemical and biological balance of the normal flora. Pregnant women and women with sexually transmitted infections are especially at risk for getting this infection.

He is not and can not carry it. So no he does not need to take medication. It only affects females.
