I think if you are really in doubt, you should go see a doctor, they will tell you.

Also, feeling bad after not eating for a while is a sign of low blood sugar (it may be a sign for diabetes), but you don't have to "keep yourself fed all the time" to avoid it - there is a difference between stuffing yourself and not starving yourself. Fruit and veggies will do nicely for snacks between main meals - you will not feel faint if the meals are not every hour, and you will not be gaining weight. Diabetes or not, it is best if you control your weight. And putting on weight _increases_ the risk of diabetes, trust me.

Hypoglycemia. You have low blood sugar. You need to change your diet big time. There is a book called The Insulin Resistant Diet. BUY THIS BOOK! It explains exactly what is happening to you, the consequences of not doing something about it (such as diabetes), and how you can change your diet to get this in check. Simply put, eat more protien, less carbs, and a whole load of vegies and you will feel SOOOO much better. I speak from experience. I have hypoglycemia myself.

The blood sugar was normal. The only possibility with your symptoms would be a pancreatic tumor of rare type but I doubt it. A complete glucose tolerance test is needed to catch any episode of hypoglycemia and these are benign and regulated by a diabetic diet. Try cutting our sweets and get a diabetic diet and see if that helps.

running and or excersing reduces the chance of diabetes cause your burning up energy which is a god thing. the usual symptoms of daibetes is extreme and constant thirst, lack of energy (light headedness)and easily gain it back with a cookie or something sweet. Constantly urinating ever few minutes or several times an hour it varies person to person. wounds that wont heal quickly, start deveoping small skin ulcers usually on the foot. It is commonly found among blacks/afircan americans, hispanics/latinos, lindian/native amricans. Check if you have a family history of diabetes. recent polls show 1 in 7 mexican families have diabetes. in my case about 3 out 12.

If your blood sugar is that low, get checked out right away. 80 is low, and anything under 70 is dangerously low. You may either have low blood sugar, or be pre-diabetic. Keep eating sensibly, but regularly--if you eat several snacks over the course of the day, as well as small meals, it keeps your blood sugar from fluctuating a lot.

Go to the doctor, explain to them what you've been feeling and how long it's been going on. It's the best way to make sure you don't have something serious. Also, what do you mean by very bad? Because when you say that.. it sounds like you could have an eating disorder. I'm not saying you do, because I'm no doctor.. but go see one and soon. I highly suggest it.

If your blood sugars stay between 80-150 that's within normal limits anything below is consider HYPO GLYCEMIA. Hypo meaning LOW Blood sugar its a PRECURSOR to DIABETES. Good thing is this can be treated by diet. Eat frequent small meals and if you cant do that take peanut butter and crackers. I have it Hypo Glycemia.

In my opinion, it appears your sugars are low. You really need to speak to your doctor to confirm any diagnosis rather than try to self-diagnose by reading the statements from others on Yahoo.

Once diagnosed, you probably have to ensure regular eating patterns of several small meals each day to ensure a regular flow of food nutrients into your system.
