Why are you switching. .I would assume cost factors. But when you switch, there is really no need for a taper. i haven't advised any one to do so. But, I suggest you talk to you doctor. beta blockers: totally different story

No need to taper as there is no "competetive inhibition"(ie one coming in the way of other)among each other
