I think you are referring to chlamydia, which is a sexually transmitted disease caused by bacteria. If untreated, it can cause serious reporductive and other problems including pelvic inflammatory disease. PID can result in infertility. So if you are infected, it is best to get treated. You can read more about the disease here

Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease and yes, it can mess you up so that you are not able to have kids. It can lie dormant within the male's body and not have a single symptom! That means that a LOT of men are carriers and don't even know it because they don't have a single clue as far as symptoms go! NOT GOOD! It can wreck havoc with them being able to have kids as well. For a woman, though, it can lie dormant OR give her terrible terrible cramps so that you can't even walk! It can be excrutiatingly painful. You need to get checked. And for guys, the proper diagnosis often gets overlooked because they need to have an additional urine test done as well.

Chlamydia is a venereal disease, and the infection can be very serious, causing pelvic inflammatory disease if left untreated. Please see a doctor as soon as possible! You can also transmit it to other people.
