by closed I mean because it's Sunday, we
didn't know whether to have it towed since
it would be at our expense or whether they
would tow it to the lot, it's sitting at a store parking lot about 1 mile from the lot

update they towed the vehicle and said they
were gonna put a rebuilt engine in it, yes it was the engine of course, at no cost to us, but we are out our money and the truck we traded and we still have had no vehicle for days, isn't there something more we can do,
this just isn't right.

Have the car towed back to the car lot. You might want to check into lemon laws that will protect you when you buy a crappy car. Maybe if you raise enough hell the dealership will take it back or fix it at no cost to you.

If it was bought AS IS then call up a wrecker and have it towed to a mechanic you want to pay to have it fixed.

If it came with a warranty, even a 50:50 warranty you need to either contact the dealer to have it towed to their mechanic of choice or if they have a service department tow it there.

If they have a service department you can have it towed in now and just meet the tow driver there and fill out a night drop slip on the car. They will contact you tomorrow.

Remember many dealers will be closed on Tuesday as well.

in case you've been no longer given the place of work artwork for the three month assure - then you definately do not have any assure. Get the brakes looked after asap. The brake draw close cylinder is leaking and could want to get replaced - doubtlessly the servo as well.

I think there is a 24 or 48 hour clause on the lemon law. Check your state immediately. Good luck.
