father have coronary bypass surgery in 1971. I'm trying to find out if his holds the record for the longest living person after this surgery.

Your question makes sense to me. You are asking if your Dad is the longest surviving coronary artery bypass grafting patient.

I'm not sure that the surgery was done in 1971---at least not commonly---so you may want to check the date of his surgery.

I think they started doing this procedure in late 60's - early 70's.
