good for you! don't make yourself eat meat if it makes you sick. your body doesn't need meat, and you'll actually be much healthier without it. vegetarians live longer, get sick less often, and have lower rates of all major diseases.
as far as protein goes, as long as you eat beans, nuts, and soy products like tofu on a somewhat regular basis, you won't be at risk of any deficiency. enjoy being veggie!

Its good and healthy to become a vegetarian. People often think that they cant get proteins from plants, but they can! Soya and tofu have more proteins than meat. And there is plenty of them in legumes. Some say that Vitamin B12 is present only in meat. However, it was found out that this vitamin is a by-product of bacteria which normally live in your intestines and mouth. If you consume diary products, you should have no problem with this. Whats more, vegetarian diet lowers risk of heart disease and contains only a small amount of cholesterol. Only 2 % of real vegetarians are fat! :-) However, if you wish to become a vegetarian, please study books about nutrition to be sure you know what to eat in order to consume all vitamins and minerals your body needs. I strongly suggest that you visit www.goveg.com and watch videos there. They really persuaded me to become a vegetarian!

Ok, if it makes you sick to eat meat, don't do it. But, just because you're a vegetarian doesn't mean animals will stop being slaughtered for food, if that's your problem. They'll still slaughter just as many cows as they do now. I'm not a big fan of meat myself, but I won't not eat it because it used to be an animal who was killed just for food. Humans are supposed to eat meat... that's why we have canines. To tear meat. It's totally up to you, I just don't like how vegetarians think they're wonderful and all mighty because they don't eat animals. If it tastes good, eat it, if it doesn't, don't. You only live once, don't not eat something because of people saying it's wrong.

Eat lots of nuts and soy products to keep your protein levels up. If your body doesn't get adequate protein it will begin consuming your muscle tissue. It shouldn't be too hard to give up meat in the heat of the summer.
