It's likely just a sign of the known infection....bacterial vaginosis is very hard to get rid of sometimes as it's hard to know the exact bacteria causing it. If you finish your meds and it's still the same please be seen again by your doctor...and don't have unprotected sex till you know for sure. Also if you have had unprotected sex with anyone you plan to do it with again they should take the same antibiotic you do or you will just get the vaginosis back from them. Best wishes

Bacterial vaginosis can have variable vaginal discharge. I'm sure your doctor put you on medications to clear your infections and given your situation may have cultured other possible STD's give them 48 hours for definitive diagnosis and call the office to check to see if other treatment is needed. I hope you get better soon.

Its a sign that you should go to the doctor tomorrow and get that checked out. If you think that it is possible that you could have gotten and STD at all go get it looked at. It is possible that its just a part of the vaginosis, but if it were my vagina, I'd want to make triple sure that everything was going to be okay in vagina land.

This is very possible. You'd want to get that checked out immediately. There are many possibilities that might have caused this. Could you be wiping from back to front? Did you recently have sex with someone and they were not clean (sweaty, hadn't showered prior to)? Have you been wearing tight clothing or have you recently changed soaps? Do you get into the habit of washing your hands before you masturbate, or warning your partners to wash their hands. That is very important, germs tend to sit under the nail beds and your vagina is the perfect location for them to ferment. Remember to always keep yourself clean and before engaging in sexual activities DEMAND PROTECTION!!! Just b/c you are clean doesn't necessarily mean that they are. Go to DiscoveryHealth.com and do your research honey, it is the best website out there.

A yellow to green discharge is associated with a parasite called Trichamonas and also a viral infection of Herpes. Both are STD's and both are quite common. A pap can test for Trich and it is easily treatede. Herpes is permanent but manageable. Go to your doctor.

Sounds like an STD, I highly recommend that you be tested. You could have Chlamydia or Gonorrhea. If not treated, they can cause infertility.
