Strictly speaking, guitars are not a completely "vegetarian" food. Many early guitars (and many current classical guitars) are strung with cat-gut strings, and although many people do not eat the whole strings, this fact definitely rules the guitar out of a strictly vegan diet.

I love guitars, and really love the people who can play them well. The music that comes from plucking those delicate strings fills the ears with melodic notes that can't be denied.
