It's probably cheaper to buy then in one of the licenced 'Tabacos' shops. Even wine & spirits are cheaper in Mercadona that at the Airport!

I think you have to buy them before the airport- then there is no limit as the duty has been paid in Spain. If customs suspect they are not for you they will take them off you.

Yes you can now providing they are for your personal use.
The customs have been told they can't even confiscate your car now unless they have evidence (not suspicions alone) that you are bootlegging.
As most duty free shops are beyond the baggage check in, you will probably have to carry them on.

legally you can bring 3200 cigarettes back, but i have often brough heaps more. customs in the uk is very laxed dont declare them, just walk through with your head held high.
