Funny you should ask that question today! There is an article just out this morning, that tells the answer to that same question! The link is below, so have fun reading! And to answer in a short reply....yes, everyone is descended from the SAME ancestors. :)

Not quite, but in a way we sort of do.
The more research I do, the more I realize that anthropologists have been feeding us bad information. Neanderthal man was not a human ancestor at all. But he was part of a separate species that developed along the same path as man but then died out.
If there was one species doing that, then I believe there were also others. I don't think we all trace back to one set of genes, but rather that species were interbreeding and a few sets developed in different parts of the world.
I do believe that all Australian Aborigines trace back to common ancestors, and that all Europeans trace back to common ancestors. But I don't think they're the same common ancestors. It would be akin to penguins and canaries both being birds, but different birds with similar physiologies.
The other side, though, is that if you look at the well-documented genealogies, such as in French Canada, you'll know that the same small group of immigrants could populate a country with literally millions and millions of descendents. I have yet to meet a single French-Canadian who didn't trace back to Xaintes Dupont and Zacharie Cloutier at least once....and often up to 20 or 30 times. It just goes to show how one couple can have millions of descendents in a matter of 3-1/2 centuries when the circumstances are right.

I do believe God created us in his likeness, so I guess if one could go back to the day of creation, yes we would all be related. There are some people out there, that I would not admit to be related too, though.

I read an article in a science magazine a few years ago that claimed that everyone can be found to have descended from about 30 women who lived about 400,000 years ago. I DO believe we are all related, because we are all the same species.

Genetically there is no doubt that all human beings belong to the same species. Not only that, but monkeys share most of the same genes as us.I believe that all life is in some way related.

No i dont think so
if you breed with someone in your family there is a good chance that there gene pool will be bad due to double doses of bad genes that your family has . Sorry its a bit of a sick idea but i couldnt think of human example
for example the african cheeta only breeds with family members and they are slowy becomeing weaker and extincted

i believe we are all related in some way. we are all human beings, we have all descended from the same cells. but i think the most important is that, at the same time, we are all different. the people around us change us, the places we visit, things we see change us. so, by living, we are different, but have the same roots.

It's a fact that the whole human race share common human ancestors. You won't find a scientist who knows anything about the subject who'd say otherwise.
