In theory we could use the same toothbrush without fear of another persons bacteria. The human mouth is a very dirty environment unlike a dogs which is much cleaner. Back to the brush, if you sanitize the brush with some form of sanitizer or bleach that would allow you to use someone Else brush. But, they are so cheap why would you bother with cleaning the brush after every use? Might be a good idea not to place the brush too close to the toilet either, what fly's in the air when you flush is far more dangerous than a persons mouth.

The last time I checked toothpaste does work but I would never share a toothbrush with anyone... you don't know what they've had in their mouth...yuck!
