how do sound affects the growth rate of broiler chicks?

When there is music playing on chickens do not fall asleep and therefore they can produce more eggs and therefore more chicks. That's what's meant by 'growth rate'. It's not that a 1 month chick develops into a 3 year old one.

i do not know.. i have never heard of that .. we use to raise baby chicks and i think they made enough sound of their own...so i really do not know what you mean...
