If it is milk chocolate don't eat it after the expiration date. But dark chocolate is ok, since it doesn't have milk in it. If it tastes funny or has lighter color spots don't eat it.

It's a federal requirement that perishable foods have an expiration date. But that's the date by which time the food has to be sold, not eaten. If you don't see any bugs and it tastes okay, then you can eat it.

It does no longer act as a kill the animal by utilizing dose poison yet builds up with repeat doses. unintended help themselves to a bag of unattended chocolate received't damage the canine to the point of creating it ill. positioned the "i visit't arise to" pinching of chocolate to relax and don't be stressful about it. Do ward off repeats besides the undeniable fact that for the bushy chocoholic sneak thief's own strong :-}

In my opinion...it is ALWAYS ok to eat chocolate. I once ate an easter egg that was a year old. It had been in my fridge the whole time. And it was fine. Mmmmm...chocolate. (drool)

Expiration dates are more what you'd call guidlines, than actual rules.
