Be lazy and don't cut it.

NOTE: You shouldn't get that many split ends if you use a good shampoo and conditioner. If you keep trimming you hair every month, it will take years to grow out. While growing it out, trim it once every 6 months. Hair dressers want to sell you their service and will always complain about split ends. The question is -- do you want long hair or do you want not a single split end in sight? A hair dresser may find a couple of split ends, but I guarantee that no one else on the street will.

I'm pretty sure you just have to keep it healthy - trim split ends, get rest, stay on a relatively healthy diet, don't fry it or abuse it too much, etc. Sick hair won't grow well, you know.

There's no magic hair growth trick. BUT you could try a weave or extensions if you're in a hurry.
