The only way that you can be sure that a person is not a virgin is if you've either witnessed them having sex or had sex with them yourself.

There is no way to tell with a guy, physically, although the way he acts and his ineptitude might be a clue.
With a girl, it's pretty tough to tell for sure. Good clues are she's tight, and has an intact hymen, although many girls are born without an "intact hymen".
Basically, you have to look for truthfulness in your relationships. Move beyond the shallow.

The easiest way is to ask or take them to a doctor, an examination will tell the truth.
