There are some people that enjoy hurting thierselves... They get some kind of pleasure out of it . Maybe , it has something to do with the fact that ---> everyone else around us hurts us all of the time , so pain becomes something that we are used to .
I wish that i was not that way , but pain has certainly just become a part of our lives . Life is not always painful though . There is the good too mixed in there somewhere
with all of the bad . Sometimes though , we are so caught up in all of the bad , that we might miss some of the good things .
But , going through the bad things , only makes us stronger ! And , we all need to be strong.... To endure all of the things that we will have to in this world! Or else , we would just spend our whole lives hurting about evrything. Every wreck we see , every child that dissapears , every child that is killed , every child that is molested , every house that burns , every family that breaks up , every person who has to go hungry , evry person who has no place to live , every child who must loose a parent , every parent who must loose a child.........
If we are lucky , these things will always bother us ! But , we will get hard enough to where the other things aren't so bad next to these things. And , we are lucky--> because we are strong enough to survive through even the biggest heart breaks & make it to the other side only slightly damaged .
And then , the really good things start to happen -->
and we remember why we stay here ... It is truely for the good things . All of the i can't wait to tell evryone one i know how happy this makes me kind of things ! All of the i wish i could stay in this moment forever kind of things ! All of the i laughed until i cryed kind of things ! All of the i'm glad this is my life kind of things !

Personally, I don't understand how anyone can find life not worth living. Everyday is different. The challenge is to notice the difference. I love watching nature at its' best and its' worst.
I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I live in a land where I can watch bear, moose, eagles, badgers, coyotes, wolves, seals, whales, volcanoes, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, all outside my back door.
And I learn from all that I see. And one thing I notice about it all is that every living creature fights for survival. They don't lay down and give up when the going gets tough. They just get tougher. You don't see a wolf cutting itself or getting tatooed.
Life is worth living if you can see beyond your problems.
We all have problems, it is a matter of whether or not you are willing to seek an answer. Nothing is so bad that it can't be fixed. Life as a matter of fact is too short as it is to live it unhappily. So seek the answers as to why you feel the need to do what you do. Look into yourself and be honest. Challenge yourself to find different outlets for your frustration or anger. Then look for the beauty that surrrounds you and make it a part of yourself.

The reason why you cut yourself is because you want to feel strong emotions, in this case pain because of the numbness that arises due to certain past issues that you have gone through. You should go out and have a stroll in the park or eat an ice-cream cone, do something fun. If you have a fun friend, give him/her a call and talk about anything.
Life is not worth living if you have nothing to do. But if you've made it till today, you must have had a goal. Its just that sometimes some things will happen that puts that goal on the backburner. Like you want to be a dancer but you broke your leg or You want to be a basketball star but you can't play. Just take your time and do it Avoid people who rush you because he/she is doing it for his/her benefit not yours.

It feels like this because you haven't talked to a doctor about this, yet. I get like this too, but the thing that keeps me going is the love I have for my wife and the knowing that the depression will pass. Seriously, get some help. You have survived this far with being this depressed, you can hang on until you get help. You are stronger than you think. If you don't have insurance, there are clinics available where they only charge you what you can afford. If you need medication, the doctors can give you samples that they get from the drug companies. hang in there, okay?

Well, the sad Truth is , that as long as you don´t make your life worth living it won´t seem **** to you...so basically you should try to improve on that front and why does it feel so right to cut yourself? From someone who has friends who do it, from someone who did it herself but not that regularly, it feels right because you let all your anger and sadness flow into that one cut, it feels like it just leaves you as the blood leaves you, it´s like your opening yourself to the world, letting go of whatever hurts you that much. But as you said, it seems not worth living and it just feels right. It is not, in any of the two cases. It´s your choice though and it always will be, it´s not the world making you do it, it´s not the ease with which a blade may puncture your skin, it´s always just about you...

Life is worth living if you start living for others. You may have some problems, but tell me, who doesn't have? Look at the brighter side of everything and love nature. Everyday is a new day. You don't know, there are so many people who needs your care, your company, your love .... have you ever visited any orphanage, any ternimal stage patient suffering from cancer, any leprosy home or any mental asylum? Please visit, meet those poor wretched souls and you will know how important your life is.

Because nobdy cares enough to want to help. The first person who answered is silly to think that the devil wants you, or else you would.ve already been taken. I know this because I am in the same situation as yourself, and everybody thinks their answer is one that helps you out, or they think god will handle it (" also total B.S.") for you. I haven't cut myself in about week almost, but I know it won't stay that way for long. You can email me, if you need someone to listen and talk about your situation.

because you haven't gotten the necessarily counseling.
Go get help.
And start reading some intelligent books to give you some perspective on your life and the world at large.
There are bigger problems in the world, than your narrowly selfish self-loathing hobby.
Go get help.
Good luck.

Because you are probably spending too much time alone. I'm sure you have other problems (if you really feel this way) but don't be alone all the time.
