Personally? Have some class, dignity, and modesty, be kind, and show me just a little bit of attention. Not that I am a normal guy, though. If a girl was a virgin and was classy, it would be difficult for me to pay attention to much else than what a classy, nice girl she is and how lucky I was to be with her.

for me in an adult relationship, it's different. I look for someone who is compatible with me, funny and out going. That's what I look for in a serious relationship.
When I was younger and not looking to get married, I looked for different things. All guys like girls that are good looking, whatever society says is good looking.
I like a girl that is a little mean. There is something sexy about a girl that is a little mean. It's a fine line between a little and to much mean, becareful

Show more skin and try to play whatever sports game the guy likes, with him.
e.g., If the guy likes baseball, offer to play some catch with him (you can use a tennis ball instead of a baseball if you want, if you don't want to hurt yourself).
If he likes tennis, play some tennis with him.
If he likes rugby, well...play some tennis with him.

Smile and make an exception to the norm... Make the first move! It shows confidence, and if the guy is shy, you just saved him some prep time to get the nerves to talk to you.
