Why would we have a book that says 1656 years after Adam, most of what was on the earth was destroyed by a flood when it had never rained. Why did life span go from 930, 912, 905, 895, 365, 962, 959, 950, 600, 400, 200, 175,
in 2083 years. Something drastic took place and man lost his first 1000 year day. So man began with the posibility of forever.
How can you have forever if all is destroyed by the failure of others besides yourself. If you are going to be a looser, it should be your choice.
1Cor.15:22; As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Alive for your first 1000 year day, so do better than Adam, Rev.30:1-6; There will be a new heavens and a new earth, because what was lost in the flood was the life sustaining earth, but there was no life to sustain.

I will not like that. I have HOPE. My body will lie in a coffin for the rest while my soul enter heaven. Because the Bible says, who ever believe in Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior, will enter heaven. I have HOPE that there is life after death.

Human morality comes from our evolutionary roots. Evolution favors species that are strong at surviving of their ecosystem. we are social animals, and so cooperating and assisting one yet another helps a given tribe to live to inform the tale. Being a selfish d*ck can damage a tribe's possibilities of survival. So over the eons nature in demand those who cared for another etc. that's the basis of human morality. (It would not demean it to comprehend it that way; it merely explains it.) So, like maximum folk, i opt to do strong issues, be strong to human beings, etc. i trust a hurry of happiness when I've helped someone, and that i trust better about myself. that's what somewhat motivates maximum folk deep down, i imagine. As others right here have reported...in case you imagine heavily and are honest with your self, i imagine you'll do not forget that that is not any longer merely desire of advantages and worry of punishment that make you want to be a strong man or woman. Edit: Tayler T, you're seeing solutions suggesting Christians do strong in person-friendly words in protecting with worry because the question became requested in a way that suggests that's the case, and they are answering the question. in different places you could also see atheists making similar statements, besides the undeniable fact that that is consistently a reaction to the accusation that's made adverse to us that, on condition that we do not stick with the Christian God, we could be amoral hedonists, or worse.

I used to wonder but I don't anymore. I have an expected end and I have comfort in that. Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thought of peace and not evil to give you an expected end

I don't think there is a person on earth who doesn't ponder that, with the exception of course of the religious people who have been promised everlasting life. In my personal opinion, absolutly nothing happends, we die and it's over. I think reincarnation is a fun idea, but simply an idea. It's sad really.

"Lie in the coffin"? Only if one believes in religious fairy tales, as you seem to do.

Tell me, where do the electrons and light go when a light bulb breaks? Do they stay in the bulb, or dissipate into the atmosphere and Earth? Our consciousness does the same.

well, If it happened to be true, then when i die, i simply rest and turn to dust. No biggies. No worries. and All's well that end's well.

But Do you ever wonder if something does happens when you die.
You suddenly get judged by God and found that your name is not listed in the book of Life.. and you end up spending the rest of eternity separated from God, the source of happiness, love, and joy?

If that happened to be true, are you ready to face that consequence?

The Bible in fact says.."the dead know nothing." Have you ever been put under for surgery..oral or out patient or anything like that? When you wake up..its as if no time has past...that is how death is..only everyone will be awakened either to live eternal or to eternal destruction (and no..not in a fiery pit of sulfer for eternity that is never in the Bible). You see we are alive by the Spirit of God as He first breathed into the first man. When we die that spirit..our portion goes back to Him. We, being flesh and blood, requiring that breath for life...die. Yet there is scripture after scripture even in the Old Testament (David writes about it) where we are implored to trust in our God, the creator to make all things new. So if we live now and choose Him...that is the promise He will keep. I have faith in that....more so I hope I have hope and faith enough like Job..."though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." Meaning..you belong to God...He's going to do with you what He will and I can do nothing on my own...to think otherwise is total arrogance..so I seek His face and search His words so that I might love Him more the more I see His love for me. He says to us.."Would a mother forget her suckling babe...yes, she may forget..but I will not forget you...you are written on the palms of my hands.." I believe this...I feel it even in my darkest times when I find this scripture and read it. Don't fear death...fear the resurrection if you have not given your life to God. Then, in order to make all things new and perfect..never to be defiled again, you having not acknowledged Him or the creation of your being will have to be deconstructed...destroyed..never to exist again. So in effect you are choosing eternal life or eternal death. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever (that's you) believed in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. He had a plan and a purpose and He wants you to be a part of it. Don't miss the party and don't let Satan (The Accusor) steal that promise. Love in Christ, ~J~ <><

Yeah, you mean like alive but immobile and BORED out of your mind. Yeah, I've thought of it. Don't mention it. That would be worse than eternal suffering. At least when you're suffering you've got SOMETHING TO DO.

"there is no remembrance in Sheol"-King David

You are no more, you do not exist, and soon when all who knew you are likewise it will be like you never existed.

Oblivious,in Eternal Oblivion.

A body within a coffin-depends if those evil morticians put you into an air tight box.
