if the bite isn't scratched open, rubbing alcohol actually works too. Toothpaste is also an easy solution, as is clear nail polish (this is best for chiggar bites). To keep from getting bitten, keep a dryer sheet in your pocket! Of course, calamine or hydrocortisone cream is the best thing to use for most bites but depending on the severity, you may find one of the other remedies to work better

Use vitamin E on the old mosquito bites to reduce the discoloration and use non fruity perfumes while outside to prevent new encounters. Aloe Vera gel works well for prevention too.

i deal with the same problem with my kids. i bought an aloe vera plant and break off small pieces and put the gel on the bites. i know it may sound crazy but try that it works for my boys.
one more thing, that product call "Skin So Soft" by Avon works when you're outside, i just don't like the smell of it. hope that helps!

if your talking about the pigmentation discoloration then you should see a dermatologist. as there are some cremes and ointments out there to bleach scarring and lighten pigmentation issues.
This is a common problem in people with darker pigmentations and even in person with a lighter skin color.
I think one of the common over the counter brands in Mederma.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/tO0Kp
