Once I hear a housekeeper saying that he was cleaning a room and he saw a roach about 3 inches long and he sprayed it with a cheap spray that kind of looked like canned cheese, and the roach hiss at the housekeeper. Thoughts?

Some can, but I have to tell you if you have ones big enough to hiss, you have a big problem. I would get someone in there to fix the problem.
