It's impossible to forget about somebody that you have/had feelings for, whether they were good or bad. So, it's best to accept the fact that they are not a part of your life anymore (if that's the case). If they are still part of your life, but the relationship has changed, then that is what you will have to accept. That this is the way things are now, and go from there.

Remember the good times. They were good and make you feel happy. You can treasure them forever, because they are a part of you and affect how you have changed and grown as a person. They affect how you will act and behave toward new experiences in the future.

The bad times... those are the ones that make you feel bad. However, they are also a part of you, no matter how much you don't want them. Learn from them. Once you learn from them, they can help you in the future. You will be able to avoid making the same mistakes in the future, and it will help you to create better relationships with people.

You never really forget someone that u truly loved but when it does not work out u will mourn that relationship for a while but then realize that their are others out there that can treat you all the more better and be everything that the other person wasnt. You never fully get over the one that u loved but unfortunately just because you love someone that does not mean that it will always work out sometimes there are factors there that are just very unpermissable that make it impossible for you to be with that person.

Honey, I've been trying for about 5 months now to forget about someone that I love so very much. And it hurts so much to let it all go, but I have to. I try going out at night, and doing whatever I can to keep myself busy. It's actually been working, but he started calling me again and I havent been answering the phone, so it's all good.

Do something you like for example hobbies...well,listening to some classical or healing music may somehow make you have a feeling of confidence and make you think that it is still possible to live on happily even without someone you love. but in any case, smile!

Every time I think about him I visualize a small box and I close it, wrap a bow around it and put it in a closet. Its stupid but if I've made up my mind to be done I make myself stick to it.
