I can use the computer and CAD, how can I get round this problem. I havent taken Art GCSE, but have been told i have a flair for Interior Design and Decoration. Also, what other similar jobs are available, which are well paid or high status??

Well not everyone can draw and that is okay. There are a couple of things you can do. First you can make common boards on your computer. They are basic layouts of rooms, and you add color and items to them as you need. If you are really good with the computer, get a laptop. Bring it with you. Have basic layouts set and then just drop in place what you want people to see. You can also have assistance that do the drawings based on what you want. Use them as your hands, while you guide them in the business. But in the end any job like this really gets off on drawing. So take some classes.

I don't think many clients would expect you to present hand- drawn designs these days - if you can use the computer and present a pile of samples and photos of previous projects (even if it is your living room!) you should be well on your way.
