Mary was a devout Jew and even served the main temple in Jerusalam sewing before the birth of Jesus. Jesus was a Jew we do honor Moses and the 10 commandments the same and followed by Christians.

Mary, Joseph, Jesus, and all of His disciples WERE Jews. This is important because if Jesus was not a Jew, than he couldn't have been the Son of God.
As for Christians not respecting Moses, I can only assume that you are saying that we do not follow the Jewish laws of ritual purity. This is true, because the Law was written as a treaty/contract between God and his old covenant people, Israel. However, there is now a NEW covenant, and that's the one that Christians have "signed"!

Mary was a Jew, Joseph was a Jew, and Jesus was a Jew!
The Jews are "the apple of G-d's eye!"
Israel is the Promised Land, even today and Christians should love Jews as much as G-d does!!!

Yes, Mary was good Jewish girl. She is also the first Christian, having agreed to be the mother of Jesus and accepting God's salvation plan for Man.

Moses was an Egyptian. Mary was Jewish, but Jesus wasn't any nationality and he rejected such ideas as primitivism. The real Jesus was way ahead of his time.

the reason you will find lineages from King David to Mary's father and mother in the Bible is that she was a direct descendant of the Davidic line as promised by the old Testament prophets and Psalms about the lineage of the Messiah.
