That's your perception.
Actually, the ratio is no different inside and outside of church. The perception is that it's worse in church because you expect ONLY real people there, but, you find that it's just not the case. So, the fakes stand out more.

In every part of society, you will find that the people who are more vocal about the things that they do, are more insecure in those things that the people who quietly go about there own lives. I live in a realigious community, and I see it time and time again. People like that like to focus on the external parts of religion such as the church services, and less on the internal aprts of religion. And I feel, as a religios person, that this is because they are not religious at all - they just thing they are. It's akin to the pastor not returning the shopping wagon back to its place - he preaches "thou shall not steal" all the time, but manages to steal the time it takes for the next customer to go find a wagon....

So, there is not any NEW TESTAMENTS IN A e book/BIBLE sort at that element compiled with Septuagint.' Bible on my own' concept isn't in life at that element as there is not any e book to call bible. It grew to become into using Oral custom up till 1400 whilst the 'compiled e book sort bible' ultimately hit the printing press. In different words, it took the Catholic Church approximately 4 hundred years of accumulating, enhancing, and sorting the classic manuscripts and have been given revealed in 1400. there have been additionally a lot of uninspired writings [apocryphal books] that have been floating around that weren't cannonized.

Genuine people have always been hard to come by, no matter where you look. In this generation the characteristics of integrity and truthfulness are hard to come by. Alot of times people who believe in God have preconceived notions of what God expects of us, and who he really is. We're all sinners and we all fall short of the glory of God. If it were to be proven that most millionaires statistically committed suicide, would you turn down a million dollars or go ahead and experience it for yourself? In the same manner don't go by what you see in most people, find genuine christians, and you'll come to find that they are constantly meditating, worshipping, and praising Jesus. When you meet a real christian it's very apparent, because when you hang out with someone you start to pick up their traits. Some of Jesus' traits are peace, love, wisdom, gentleness, forgiveness, patience, love and understanding. These are some of the characteristics that can help you identify a true christian. Peace and Blessings!

Unfortunately, it is very common to find people who "fake" who they are in order to fit in with others. Casting Crowns, a famous Christian band, explained it best when they performed "Stained Glass Masquerade", a plea to the church to make it "acceptable" for all of God's people be who they truly are without having to put on a play of sorts by trying to look like they've got it all "together" for God. But Christianity, and the whole Christian message, is that we don't and never can have it "all together", and that, in order to have eternal life, we have to surrender ourselves over to God. This is called "Total Depravation", and it explains that the whole of the Christian gospel is that we don't need to be "fake" for God or for others, and that the Christian life is all about saying to God that we aren't any good at all and that we need his help.

There is an ancient chinese proverb: "A thief sees everyone as a thief". If we value others for their natural being and see them as part of God we will be very happy to be with people in chuch or out of it. In otherwords if we are genuine we will see others as having genuinesss and look past the faults. Ask ourselves the question: Is there a one of us without many faults? The questions and answers put here seem to imply that all who are answering feel they are faultess but seem to find everyone in church with faults. I wonder if there is a falut itself here at work? Perhaps you need to reconsider our own faults too, and first. Improvement begins at home. God-speed.

I question you; why are you trying to find genuine people in a situation lending itself to lipservice.
There is a book published by a certain man. In it he recollects how in his youth he played organ for a carnival. On Saturday nights he played in the buresque houses and on Sunday mornings he would play in the church. He notes that he found many men praying for forgiveness for their lewd thoughts of the night before, only to return to the burlesque house as Saturday rolled back around.
Most often, the people who go to church only pretend to be who the people they appear to be because they're affraid their true nature will land them in Hell. The truth is, however, they are not truly sorry for their sins. Furthermore, should Hell actually exist (which I highly doubt), they will be sent to Hell when they die anyway because they were not sincere in their prayers.

For starters, it's because you're looking for real people in a church! Keep in mind that these are the same people who play dress up, feign faith, gossip left and right, and judge their fellow parishioners on their worthiness of salvation (or taste in cars, attire, homes, or employment). They may not admit it to your face, but believe me, it's going on!
Aaaaah, good ol' Christian folk! "Holier-than-Thou" to the bitter end!

Church is more about socializing than religion. People are "fake" precisely because they are trying to fit in.
