That is something I really don't understand. If you believe in the devil, than you also believe in God. So why would you choose the devil over God? Makes no sense whatsoever

I don't worship the devil, I just really like him.
Naw, I see God and Satan as symbolic devices. God represents denying natural instincts and putting on an aire that we, as humans, are superior to animals while Satan represents aknowlaging human nature and acting on logic.
I am a Satanist in that I believe in the thoughts detailed in Anton La Vey's The Satanic Bible. There are people out there who actually think the devil is a real power and they worship him, but they are more correctly called Devil Worshipers.
And Marylin Manson actually is a Satanist. He met and befriended Anton La vey, the founder of the religion, before he had died. But, people who become whatever just because a public figure has done the same are very stupid in my opinion. I have no pitty for these people. They are sheep. They find a sheperd and follow. That's the extent of their mental capacity.

I don't believe there is ultimately a distinction between God and the Devil... in fact I believe that creating that distinction is in and of itself evil. But I do believe in a source, and a fundamental "home" of existence. Where we don't even have to "exist" if we don't want to... So I think in a particular way I worship the devil and the reason is the same reason anyone worships anything... to know and be one with the whole truth.

The devil and god are mere virtual thoughts of the mind. Worshiping the devil means your affinity to the dark but is as good as worshiping god because worship is just the action of surrendering

Most people in the World today worship SAatan the devil they juast don't realise it because the Bible says that Satan is the God of this system of thingsso people think they are worshiping God when in reality they are giving their worship to Satan who is cunnungly misleading them to serve him (2Corinthians4:4)

True Devil worship has been maligned through the ages with a whisper campaign of lies. Lies about sacrifices, stolen babies and things of this nature. All of these lies came from Christendom (the world of christianity at large, Catholics (roman and greek), Protestants, Anglicans, etc. They used Satanism as a scapegoat (so to speak) to steer the public at large away from more dangerous subjects (like their priests having sex with prostitutes, the Pope having numerous children and then making one of them Pope, etc.) much like they do today with War, Gay Marriage, Abortion, etc. Anything to take away from their million dollar salaries and hundred-million dollar "universities".
The true Satanist is concerned about one thing. PLEASURE. Lots and lots of it. He's not worried about black mass or killing someone. All he wants is sex (usually doesn't care if its male or female as long as it FUN), drink (wine, any alcohol that he can enjoy, good safe drugs) or unsafe as long as he has someone to watch him. In other words he's pretty much an immature playboy only worried about pleasure, not killing. So for the true satanist, it sounds carnally fun.
