how long it takes to food to spoil after cooking.
not putting it in the frig.

A good rule of thumb is 2-40 140; don't leave food out more than two hours in temperatures over 40 degrees F and under 140 degrees.

Depends on what you made. If you made meat, I think it last about 4-6 hours w/o refrig. If you made veggies then they will last a tad longer. It also depends on the weather as well. if it is too hot where you are and you leave food out it will spoil faster. If you used any kind of dairy it tends to spoil faster. So, I recommend you tell us what you made so we have an idea of what going on.

it really depends on the food, as some foods last longer than others. My wife has a tendency to throw out anything left out more than 3 hrs.

it depend what your cooking meat once it cools average is with in two hrs its safe
