Hmmm...it's a bit of a coin-toss, innit?
I guess people who've seen Elvis/Lennon/Kennedy/Diana would have to be classified as slightly more barking than those who've seen God, cos God could appear to them in anything - like our cowpat-inspecting friend. It might seem insane to us, but it's a personal faith conviction. If you're watching Elvis try on shoes in Clarkes then you're believing that not only did this human being (who had every right to die, given the amount of stuff he had inside him!) not in fact die, but also probably not age very much at all in the intervening 30 years or so, and that he's now sat in front of you doing something utterly mundane, rather than on a private cheeseburger-shaped island getting vastly erotic things done to him by a horde of paid young women, while shovelling squirrels in his mouth and cocaine up his nose...To me, that's a bigger stretch than someone thinking they saw God in a potato or something.

What makes you think either are mad?
In order to make contact with the other side we have to lift our conciousness. In doing so we have an ability to accept others and their uniqueness. There is no judgement but there IS contact wether it's God or others.
I had a near death experience and know this to be true.
Although you are entitled to your opinion - i feel that the way you have asked your question indicates limited experience and a strong opinion of others based on that. No matter how you feel, it does not alter others true experiences!

I don't know who they are, these mad people, crazy little people.
One said he saw Elvis in a Holland and Barrets foodstore! Crazy little freak. Everyone knows Elvis liked a greasy fat inducing quarter pounder with cheese. Elvis would never be seen dead in a health food store!
