I have used google time and time again, only to be taken to sites with promises of being able to find my brother IF I pay them. I have his soc.sec.# and some details. I have no idea where he lives other than in Northern Calif. I do not know of his last address or phone. But I do know he is divorced and his ex-wifes first name. (I don't know her maiden name.) I need some kind of search with immediate results and that is 100% free, no strings attached. Is there anything out there that can help me locate him? FOR FREE!!?

You can normally search court records for free by county. If you don't know his specific county, you can get a map and try each county. You have enough info, but you'll have to put some time and effort into it. It'll help if he's had a speeding ticket, but you probably don't know that. If you truly want this for free, you'll have to do all of the work. I'd try for you, but why should you trust me with the info? Good luck.

Before spending all the money on research try to find out if, I do not know how, if his social security number is still active. Make sure he is alive first. Try Social Security Death list. Sorry to sound so morbid. Try aslo geneology websites
